With a Pipguide, the guide of a slot car can move sideways within the chassis. This allows the car to slide with 4 wheels. The flexible arm of the guide also absorbs the lateral forces that the car endures in curvy sections of the track. It makes the car follow a smoother racing line, which feels great and helps against de-slotting. It might improve your laptimes as well!
But most important to me, the extra realism of the cars' handling adds even more fun to slot racing!
